Surrey Raynet is an autonomous part of the nation-wide registered charity organization “Radio Amateurs Emergency Network” (RAEN) – known by its generic name “Raynet”

Surrey Raynet consists of  two Groups :-

Group #114 Surrey  West

Group #115 Surrey  East

Each Group is the responsibility of a Group Controller  

The organization of Surrey Raynet is the responsibility of the County Committee, which is chaired by the County Controller – together with the  Group Controllers.

Membership is open to all aged  18 years and over.   Use of radios on amateur frequencies is limited to qualified & licensed Radio Amateurs.   However Non Amateurs can fulfill other  roles such as operating the PMR446, ITAP PMR radios, log-keeping and radio watch etc.

Surrey Raynet operations are funded only by subscription and donations, thereby ensuring its financial independence.
